Hand-picked by the indigenous Dai tribe in the jungles of Yunnan from trees more than 40 feet tall planted more than 1,300 years ago, this black tea is blended with bergamot oil. The fully oxidized brew leaves lingering notes of muscatel, caramel, and tobacco.
This tea is special. It comes from trees planted in 700 AD in the jungles of the Yunnan province of China. The indigenous Dai tribes there allow the tea to grow wild, high in the jungle's canopy. The women climb forty-foot-tall trees to harvest the leaves, then pass them down to the men below for processing below. Our Earl Grey is blended with an exquisite bergamot oil for an extremely smooth and balanced flavor that is complex, but never overpowering.
