Rich, red amber liquor. Liquor is slightly peaty, fresh, notes of dried tobacco, baked carrots, slightly mineral, wet terra-cotta, and collard greens. Light powdery tannin finish.
Walking among feral tea trees can be a haunting experience. Though these particular trees are beginning to take on a “wild” appearance, it’s apparent from their regular spacing that humans once tended this garden. The trees are in their prime, at ten to fifteen years old, and receive minimal cultivation with only organic fertilizers, making this tea rich and complex.
