The epitome of Taiwan oolong, the flavor straddles spring flowers (orchid, lilac) and the notes that come from a longer oxidation, like butterscotch and red apple. Very good huigan (lingering sweetness.)
The quality of a good roasted oolong is evident long before it hits your lips. Although the roasting process results in a deeper hue, the tea remains clear and clean. The golden yellow liquor of our Hearth Dragon and the flavor reflects a tea that can only come from the terroir of Taiwan. It is best tasted and not written about, but it has notes of orchid, butterscotch, honeysuckle, and caramel with an intoxicating aftertaste.
